What this website does.

The join form collects your name, email, what you would help with, language and your optional request to hear when the app is ready. With your consent, we keep these to assess your application and contact you. We keep the wording and version of your consent. Applications are retained for twelve months unless you withdraw earlier or become a member under the product’s own terms.
The waitlist is separate from the newsletter. With your consent, we collect your email, language, signup page and consent version to notify you when registration opens. Confirmation is required. Unconfirmed entries expire after seven days; confirmed entries are kept for at most one year from confirmation. You can leave through your confirmation email or contact office@gigets.co. Withdrawn entries are removed within 24 hours by our maintenance process.
The newsletter collects your email and language, the page you used and the version of your consent. You must confirm your address before receiving news. Pending subscriptions expire after seven days. Confirmed subscriptions last until you unsubscribe, or for twenty-four months without an interaction. Each newsletter has an unsubscribe link. We never buy or merge mailing lists.
Feedback collects the page address, your message and, only if you provide it, your email. We use it to fix problems and answer you, on the basis of our legitimate interest in maintaining this website. It is retained for six months.
Cloudflare hosts this website and its database. The database uses European placement. Its anti-bot service, Turnstile, loads when you use a form. It receives technical information needed to check the request. Our database stores a rotating hash of your IP address for abuse prevention, never the raw address. Rate-limit records expire after one day. We do not log form text or email addresses in application logs.
Transactional email is sent through the configured email provider. The subprocessors page names the services in use. A submission is not shown as successful unless it has been saved. Where email delivery is unavailable, the form says so rather than pretending it sent a message.
You can request access, correction, withdrawal, erasure or restriction by writing to office@gigets.co. You can also object where we rely on legitimate interest and complain to the CNIL. Withdrawing newsletter consent takes effect through the unsubscribe link. We answer rights requests within one month. We verify the request before deleting another person’s information.
What the product does.
The web application is a separate service. Its member data, messages, Social Map and exchanges are not described by this website policy. Its own privacy information must be presented before those data are collected. This page does not assert that the product has completed a privacy audit.
